I’m a Montpelier resident and fan of the Savoy. In my profession as a strategic communications consultant, I have long worked with the filmmakers Pamela Yates and Paco de Onís, whose most recent film BORDERLAND | The Line Within which exposes the powerful apparatus of the border industrial complex and how immigrants and allies are working to create a movement to resist and call for the rights of all living in the U.S. The screening would be part of the nationwide Fall of Freedom activation taking place Nov. 21-22 https://www.falloffreedom.com/ and I would be inviting local organization and community reps to say a few words after the film.
