Many filmmakers have tackled issues of displacement, discrimination, exploitation, and assimilation in movies like Mississippi Masala (about Indians in the Deep South), La Promesse (Africans in Belgium), and El Norte (Guatemalans in Los Angeles). Rick Winston will share clips from these and twelve other works that address one of the most pressing issues of our time.
