The Savoy Theater’s Queer Film Fest presents: Queer Shorts!, a curated of block of short films

We’ve extended our submission deadline! Submissions now open until Monday, June 1, 2026.

Short Requirements:

• QFF welcomes submissions in any genre and from filmmakers of all experience levels and backgrounds.
• We allow up to 3 short film submissions per filmmaker.
• Submitted films must have a runtime of 10 minutes or less.
• Films created with the use of AI-generated content are not eligible for consideration.
• Non-English language films must include English subtitles.
• By submitting a film, the filmmaker confirms they hold all necessary rights, permissions, and clearances required for festival exhibition.
• Submission grants Montpelier’s Queer Film Festival permission to screen the film during the 2026 festival if selected.
• Filmmakers allow the festival to use stills, screenshots, and brief clips from the film for promotional and marketing purposes.

Montpelier Pride:

The Savoy Queer Film Festival is presented in partnership with Montpelier Pride.  From May 15-June 15, ticket buyers will have the option to add a donation to Montpelier Pride at checkout ($2, $5, $10, or $25). Please consider supporting Montpelier Pride so they can continue providing vital community programming and hosting events throughout Pride Month and beyond!
