Robert Hargraves has given many courses at Dartmouth’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, including courses on energy policy, Internet money, Wikipedia, and conflict between science and politics. He is a Brown physics PhD with an honors AB in mathematics from Dartmouth. where he returned as assistant professor and taught mathematics and the first computer science courses. He founded a software company, became a VP at Met Life, an IT consultant at AD Little, then VP of medical device firm Boston Scientific.  Hargraves is the author of THORIUM: energy cheaper than coal and cofounder of fission energy company ThorCon.
