Jason Lorber Comedy Tour
Run Time: 75 min.
Come join us for this unique one-man show in the main room from local comedian and former legislator Jason Lorber.
Comedy at the Core wrestles with what 13-year-old Jason thought his life would be…and what it became (so far). Known across VT as an actor and comedian, including when he performed in David Sedaris’ one-man show “SantaLand Diaries” and when he opened for Joan Rivers. Jason was praised by Seven Days magazine: “Jason Lorber killed it opening for Joan Rivers,” as well for Comedy at the Core, which was one of their picks of the week in the Magnificent Seven column.
John Rodgers, the Lt. Governor, will be the opening act on Thursday!
Jason is known statewide not just for his comedic skills, but also for having served in the Vermont House of Representatives for 8 years, from 2005 to 2012. And his comedy reflects it, politics being one of his staples of comedy.
“I ran for office because I wanted to spend less time with my family,” said Jason. “That’s also why I’m still a comedian.”
