About the Film:

FUCKTOYS follows AP, a sex worker moving through grimy, glitter-soaked “Trashtown, U.S.A.” After a personal crisis sparked by a missing tooth, she learns from a psychic that she’s been cursed — and must raise $1,000 and sacrifice a lamb to break it. Joined by her partner-in-chaos, Danni, she drifts through the city’s strangest corners on a desperate, absurd quest to break the spell. Wildly funny, filthy, and unexpectedly tender, the film is shot on lush 16mm and plays like a John Waters fever dream (with a lot of heart).

About the Director:

Born in Burlington, VT, Annapurna Sriram is an American actress, director, and writer. She is known for her roles on BILLIONS, THE BLACKLIST and Jesse Eisenberg’s play THE SPOILS. FUCKTOYS is her directorial debut, and earned her a 2026 Film Independent Spirit Award nomination earlier this year.
