In the Name of Forgotten Women dramatizes the war waged on women’s bodies and freedom, and their indomitable will to survive.  This multimedia “choreopoem” dramatizes poetry with music, dance, ritual, and projection. Through the individual and collective voices of women representing each continent, this innovative work explores the plight of Woman—as bride, wife, mother, and daughter—in over 15 countries around the globe. Inspired by real-life incidents spanning the last four centuries

There will be sur-prizes at the door and Cindy will be selling copies of her book and taking questions following the screening.  Light refreshments will be provided by the hosts.
